“Foley's in Kenmare delivered a comfortable atmosphere and delicious dinner!”
Reviewed August 7, 2013 via mobile

We arrived in Kenmare after a long day of driving The Beara Peninsula and the top section of the Ring of Kerry. We were all checked into our place for the night and they suggested to have dinner with the 3 children at Foley's, a restaurant that is I believe below an Inn or hotel of sorts. We were seated quickly and there were many tables with families with children. The server was extremely personable and friendly, chatted with our entire family including answering our 4 year olds constant questions, all with a smile. Our order was flawless and delivered in a timely fashion. I had the pot of mussels and my husband the lamb stew. Our boys loved the fish and chips. We would highly recommend this place and we would definitely return. Funny enough our server was Canadian and understood our desire for some plain Iced Tea to drink and was accommodating enough to bring us a pot of fresh brewed tea and pint glasses with ice! Thanks for a great time!

“Have had better!!”
Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

The overall place is nice. A lovely outside look and nice clean inside interior. The tables were sticky, there was loads of flies, and our server was slamming the glasses onto the table. The food was ok, I tasted better. My biggest complaint was the chips, they were frozen chips which I HATE, and some were RAW and some were BURNED. Otherwise mostly OK!!

“OK but there are better ones”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Marginally cheaper but the food quality was not as good as some others. Interior was looking a little worse for wear.

“Very good food”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

Stopped in Kenmare this evening for dinner. Decided to try Foley's....a very good choice....6 dinners, including 3 fish dinners, Lamb stew, Turkey & Ham and a steak burger, 4 minerals, 1 coffee and one bottle of heineken all for 105 euro. Great food and great value. Servers were very pleasant.
