Description: No. 35 is a family-run, characterful and confident local dining room. We cook with the best of what's around us, using ingredients in season. On our farm, just a mile up the road, we breed our own pedigree rare breed Saddleback pigs for the delicious free-range pork we serve at No. 35. Open for lunch and dinner

The only complaint i had about this restaurant was that we booked the early bird the morning before we went. Having looked at the early bird menu online we were happy to go for that and i asked specifically for the early bird booking. When we arrived the restaurant was very busy and we were told the early bird was gone off the menu. We aren't the fussiest so we didn't mind ordering from the normal menu but it was a bit annoying that we couldn't have what we were told we could have on the phone earlier that day. Note to staff- update your website. That said we had a very pleasant experience, the food was very tasty and there was a lovely cosy atmosphere and the food was good value also, would definitely return here again. :)

After getting over a bad flight to Ireland (caught a flu bug) , I was ready to eat. I found this sweet little place across from our hotel and ate there alone. The staff was kind and even let me take a dessert plate home for later, since I wanted to share the fantastic food with my husband and daughter. We ended up eating at this delightful place 5/8 days in Ireland. The food was amazingly presented, tasted fresh and unlike anything we had ever had. Even a green salad was terrific. We sat upstairs, downstairs, by the window and in the cozy corners. All where warm and satisfactory. The manager James quickly learned our favorite drinks and even bought us a round on our last night. The waitstaff would say "nighty, night" as we left each night. We ate at only two other restaurants in Kenmare and that was only because No. 35 opens for dinner, and we were in town at lunch and they are closed on Wednesdays.
If you are near this town, make sure to stop in and taste all they have from appetizers, to main course to dessert we were amazed at such tasty food dishes. I wish I could take them home in my pocket....

On a recent quick trip to Kenmare, my husband and I had to wonderful meals at No. 35. Each night we had their super mussels in a cider broth. Two fish entrees were perfect as were the fries and goat cheese salad. We topped it all off with a "brew pub" type beer from Dungarvan. All in all we couldn't have been happier.

Yes it was more pricey than regular pub food but you get what you paid for. No 35 served delicious food and offered great service for the price that you pay. The seafood was fresh and well cooked. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is set up so that it is suitable for both romantic dinners and big family dinners. Overall, definitely worth the price!
