Last night (August 27th,2013) I enjoyed one of my best dining experiences! For a starter I had Irish Goat Cheese - baked with phyllo dough and a wine sauce reduction. WOW! Then I chose the main course from one of the specials ~ Monkfish with sundried tomatoes, pine nuts and a sauce to cherish! I almost forgot to mention the homemade bread that was on the table. Dark brown is outstanding in flavor and texture.
The meal was accompanied by a very nicely priced (18 euro) bottle of Pino Grigio. Staff is delightful and thanks for the wine selection to Noel the barman!

Love this place, been here quite a bit! My favourites are the chili & garlic beef to start and the game as main course! Also the mussles - Delicious!

We ate here early one Sunday. The staff were cold and unhelpful. The choice on the menu was quite limited in spite of its seaside location. I had hake which was a beautiful piece of fish, but unfortunately it was drowned in a vile mushroom sauce which tasted like mushroom soup. It came with lumpy undercooked mashed potatoes. All in all very unpleasant. My husband had turbot which was deemed to be "fine". Again, such a beautiful piece of fish which was destroyed. On the basis of our main course experience, we decided against dessert opting instead to get an icecream from the local Supermarket. Overall, very disappointing. There really is no excuse for badly cooked fish in this part of the country.

Very average food. Less than impressed. A lot of fried and battered fish on the menu. More like pub food for restaurant prices. 3 time here not being impressed.
