This restaurant has been recently been reopened under new ownership. it now goes under the name of Éabha Joans. It has been re-decorated in warm colours that gives this restaurant a very pleasant cozy feeling. For the past fifteen odd years a group of four of us neighbours an friends have been having a christmas party night. We have frequented many restaurants in the greater Kerry area, but after having our annual get together last Friday night December 20th, in Éabha Joans, we all agreed that it rated as the best dining experience we ever had. We all had different starters, mains and deserts, ranging from spring roll, avocado stuffed with crab meat to sea food chowder. The mains included duck, steak, a duo of cod and salmon and traditional turkey and ham.
All plates were licked clean. To sum up: Wonderful food, great service from friendly staff and tremendous value at €29.95 for 4 courses and mince pies and mulled wine thrown in for good measure!
Not to be missed.
