“Great holiday home”
Reviewed August 9, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We stayed for a week at Pine Tree House holiday home in July/August 2017. The house sleeps 8 with 3 double rooms and a twin room. Kay and Eddie made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

Our party ranged in age from 2 up to almost 80 and everyone was catered for.
The holiday home is really a home away from home. Very comfortable, clean and is so well equipped..it had everything we needed and more. The downstairs living areas are so spacious and the kitchen was ideal. I loved that there was no shortage of cutlery and crockery which meant we could just clear everything into the dishwasher and not turn it on until it was full (but still had enough cups/plates etc to make a cuppa or have a bite to eat.)

The games room was definitely the icing on the cake...we had great fun and lots of laughs trying to master table tennis and pool and there was lots of toys to keep our two boys (2 & 5) entertained too. The house itself also had lots of books, jigsaws and packs of cards to keep us amused too...we made one of the 500 piece jigsaw one of the evenings. And of course we had brought a few DVDs for the boys to watch too. (Having 2 tvs was great for that). It was also great to have wifi in the house...another added bonus we weren't expecting.

The location is perfect for exploring Kerry and Clare. Since our boys were so young we didn't travel too far but still had plenty to do...ferry over to Clare, plenty of beaches nearby, swimming pool in Ballybunion, monorail in Listowel, playgrounds in Tarbert, Glin and Foynes...we had a great week..even though the weather wasn't the best.

Thanks Kay and Eddie...hopefully we'll be back again.

Reviewed August 26, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We had a fantastic time at this location. The house was great with everything we needed and Kay was lovely.
The location is ideally situated for us to cover Kerry, Clare and Limerick. Our week went so fast as we went to Dingle to meet Fungi , The Ring of Kerry , Kenmare ,Killarney ,Clare to watch for Dolphins ..the list goes on.
This is our third successive year in this location....we absolutely love it.
Thanks again Kay...see you soon

“Really lovely house, in a great location.”
Reviewed August 26, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We are a family of five from Co. Clare.
We stayed at Pine Tree Lodge for a
week, and had a lovely time there.
Kay, the owner, helpful very welcoming and helpful, whenever needed.
She offered lots of suggestions on local activities, places to go and things to do.
There was plenty of informative literature there suggesting places of interest to visit and enjoy.
Lots of books to read if you have the time!
The house is lovely, very spacious, comfortable, and of an extremely good standard throughout.
The highlight of the house for my three children aged between 5 and 11 years of age, was the games room, which had table tennis, pool table and table soccer, amongst others.
A great extra for the odd rainy day!!

The house has everything you will need for a family stay, and I would recommend it highly to anyone wanting the perfect location to tour Kerry, Clare or Limerick.

“Beautiful house and a fantastic touring base for Kerry and Clare”
Reviewed April 19, 2013 for a stay in November 2012

Our family had a fantastic week in this beautiful house. We were met by the owner, a wonderful lady who could not do enough for us. We went for long early morning walks on Ballybunion beach and then into lovely town of Listowel which has lots of great shops and pubs too! We visited the beautiful Dingle, Kenmare (the N71 has the most stunning scenery), Killarney and Tralee and also caught the ferry (just up the road) across to County Clare and drove up the coast to the Cliffs of Moher, across to Ennis and then we drove to Bunratty Castle for a pint of the black stuff in Durty Nelly's!! We were all very sad to leave this fantastic place and have booked to go back to Ireland again this year! Imagine Ireland are great and helped us find the perfect house - I would highly recommend them. A fantastic week was had by all!!!
