We actually stayed in June 2011. We were booked in to the fantastic Three Chimneys Restaurant in Skinidin and they had put us in touch with Jenni who thankfully had High Tide available for us for an evening. I am only sorry that we made it one night. The area is absolutely stunning and we will certainly be back as all the Seals, dolphins etc were hiding. We were so tempted to stay on and pump up our kayak to explore but it shall be done !!
The accommodation is just a couple of hundred yards down the road from the restaurant on the opposite side of the road with the garden edging the Loch. The room was very comfortable and well presented. A table had been set up for breakfast by the windows and a Continental breakfast and supplies had been left in the fridge for us. A torch was also provided as thankfully the beautiful area has not been marred by streetlights. We had a wonderful night's stay, fantastic sleep and were only sorry that our schedule didn't allow us longer in the area.
Im hoping this year to return and make amends and will certainly seek out Silverdale's hospitality in one form or another.More
