after my wedding I went to Maldives for my honeymoon. It was heaven! Paradise hotel was actually looking like a paradise to me! Corel reefs, Neat beach, and then Ocean! It was an amazing experience. staff is warmth and they are ready to help you. Here food might be a problem for those who like Spicy Indian food. Otherwise they have variety of cuisines which is served everyday. You can do snorkeling, jet skiing, parachute sailing and other water sports which will make you feel more adventurous and revived.

A must place to visit and experience good time!

Visited in August 2005. After arrival at Malé Int. Airport anyone were wainting for me, then I went to Villa Hotels desk in the airport to know about my transfer and the lady said they were confused about my flight and think it's at other time. After waiting a bit I went to the port and a boat took me to the hotel. After a 30 minutes cruise I arrived at the hotel port then walked the brigde to the hotel reception. The decoration was very simple in style of Maldives. After a welcome drink I went to my beach villa located in a forest at 50 meters to the beach. The villa was big and very simple without any luxury but the rest is a pure and incredible paradise! The beach was great! The restaurant have a big sort of food and with good quality! At night was some animation shows! The employees were very nice and kind! Very good hotel and a paradise on you own foot!

The island is located about 20 min from the airport (boat transfer). The bungalows are quite large, not the newest one, but ok. Big bathroom, outside and inside shower, mini fridge, coffee&tea maker, flat TV, terrace with table and chairs. Direct beachfront with own sunbeds. Rubber shoes for swimming are highly recommended due to many broken coral pieces. Staff ist friendly and helpfull. Main restaurant is huge, enough tables. Very good (mainly) indian food!! Fresh fruits and vegetables. Open wine is poor, bottled red and rose ist quite good. Fitness, squash and badminton hall.

Traveled there in early this month. Spent 2 days at a Superior Beach Bungalow which was absolutely perfect and the view of the ocean from the terrace is just amazing.

Rooms: Were spacious, clean and neat. Since we were on honeymoon they had arranged a champagne bottle along with a fruit basket on our first eve there.

Food: Buffet was okay. But seems the variety is bit less. Certain indian dishes were available at all 4 meals we had at the hotel. Being an island nation, one would expect a variety of sea food which as per my expectation was relatively less here at the hotel. If its during the peak season, the restaurant will be crowded and noisy. And some might have to sit in tables farther away from the buffet area; hence lot of walking up and down.

Activities : Lot of beach activities are available which comes at a reasonable cost i would say.

Staff : Nicely dressed and speaks reasonably good English. But i wish they could be a bit friendlier, may be smile a little bit more. One guy who brought us drinks at the bar, was looking at us in awe as if we were from some different planet, which was really uncomfortable.

Transport : The hotel had arranged a speed boat to pick us up from the airport and to drop us back on our return day. The timing was based on our flight times. So if a person wants to leave early to have a city tour in Male perhaps, they might want to inform the hotel in advance.

Overall : It was a pleasant stay, expensive because it was a 5-star hotel. But one would never ever forget the wonderful beaches there.

Room Tip: Avoid seasonal times.. get a beach bungalow closer to the restaurant (Room No 273-250 or above)

Amazing place. Went from India. Good people.... good food... and a place to relax.... Some points to remember....

1) I will suggest to take a room map of the island and see which room you want.... Some rooms with infinity sea view ...and some are very near to reef so you will feel like a back water view. So download the map and decide. or you can go to resort and then decide too...as you can change the room as per your choice (depends on availability)

2) If you plan to snorkel ..... take your own equipment... You will same many $ with that ...and you get decent kits anywhere with good price

3) If you plan for para sailing do it in evening time... they will take you around 2-3 PM with other ppl ....ask them that you want to get in the last..... you might get a sun set (close to) view

4) Buying anything on the island is expensive. Take things like memory cards, 3 pin adaptors, batteries and other electronics from your home country

5) Take a mosquito repellent cream... there are not many but at some places you might encounter ....

In all place is really good and amazing food.... I stayed for 7 days and I enjoyed each and every moment.

I will highly recommend this resort.
