Paradise Island Resort & Spa

We stayed from 1-5 october with my wife, son & family with 2 kids. The transfer by luxury boat was not very comfortable with the boat standing in the sun for few hours on our arrival at mid day. At the jetty there was no one to guide us.
The beach bungalows were excellent and very child friendly.
The restaurants were good and the pools clean and neat.
Location cannot be better and diving facilities excellent. The instructress was particularly good and she made us very comfortable and safe.
The dinning at the restaurant about 500m in the sea and shark feeding at about 2200 was a unique experience which the adults and the kids enjoyed very much.
Overall our stay was out of the world experience and a bit of attention in the boat and on arrival would have made the stay the best

We went on our honeymoon and it couldn't have been better.
We booked the over water villas and it was worth every penny.
Even if our flight was delayed still the pick up at the airport was very smooth.
The staff is very friendly.
The food is amazing , my husband is vegetarian and he loved the variety and just didn't have to snack on breads but they had all the variety like rajmah , aloo gobhi chole yellow dal, lady finer and what not, and of course there were all other cuisines all relishing and mouth watering.
Deserts were amazing and so was the fruit platter.
They have live omelette, pasta and sea food station.
The activities were good too. the trainers were very helpful.
We even went to the Italian restaurant and they served the best cold coffee ice cream.
They had a main area that used to have one special event every evening like couples night, live music, DJ and so on.
The bar is good. the even serve hookah that we enjoyed.
Room service is good too, Air condition and hot water is good
The only thing i missed was the special honeymoon decoration that usually hotels have for honeymooners but that's okay.
Over all i have never seen a place as perfect as this.
Hope to visit it again. :)

Room Tip: If possible book an over water villa. trust me its worth it

The Island was beautiful. The facilities were excellent. From the moment we were met at the airport to being dropped back at the end of the week - we had an amazing time. The rooms were beautiful, the water unreal and the fish - it was like living with Nemo. The Italian restaurant was lovely and special thanks to bartender Rahim and the waiting staff for making our 25th celebration anniversary dinner so special. The only negative comment is that the food was mediocre. There were very few local dishes on the breakfast and dinner menu. The SPA was amazing! If you can, do take some lunch time snacks and bottled water. Better to drink house wine by the glass, as the bottled wine is either expensive or not very nice. The cocktails were excellent. The hotel put on entertainment every night which was a lot of fun.

Room Tip: Definitely stay on the East side of the Island - Beach bungalows #250-300 appx. If you can afford i...

The island was beautiful. The rooms were awesome. Once we entered the island, we were given welcome drink. The sea waters were just 10 foot away from the back door of our room. U open the curtain, u see the sea waters.

The food was awesome. They have indian, chinese, american. Almost everything. Vast options. They have the tours which were good. They also provide candle light dinner in the beach.

You have plenty of privacy. The sheets were changed and room was maintained very neat. The rooms have bath tub too. They have something special, open private shower. The experience was too good.

A wonderful island resort. White sand, blue water and that's what we were exactly wanted. Me and my daughter had the best vacation here. We had booked a 2 night stay at the Superior beach bungalow and a 1 night stay at the Water villa. On the 3rd day when i went to the reception to tell them that i had a check-in at the water villa, they surprised us with an upgrade to the Haven Suite...whoopppyyy!!!! That was a lovely gift for us from the resort. Thanks so much Paradise!!

The property is good, well maintained. Rooms are clean. Staff is helpful. Food is great. Drinks are expensive and also they charge to much for the water sports and activities.

But the place is it a truly a haven!!! Just loved it!!

As said by my friend who recommended this place, "it's like they dyed the water blue and bleached the sand!" It truly is paradise.
We stayed for 9 nights this past October and I could have stayed another 9 nights. I came with my husband, 6 month old and 5 year old and had a blast. There was a lovely babysitter, Maria, who was very good to my children and always happy to accommodate. I also understand they are developing a kid's club. The people are lovely, the surroundings kept me constantly mesmerized and my children were so happy here.
The beach bungalows are a bit outdated and I could have used a stronger air conditioning but steps from the beach, I'm not really complaining.
Also, we had half board which consisted of breakfast and dinner... The buffet was quite average. The italian and seafood restaurants in comparison, were fabulous. Your mini bar will packs some very reasonably priced single serve bottles of wine for requisite sun setters.
Overall, a great hotel to "get your feet wet" in The Maldives :)

Room Tip: Bring lots of sunscreen!

went ther last year - really haven on earth.
pros
very helpfull and frindly staff.
rooms were impacable.
lived in water villa..awesome place to live.
very good water sports center.
property is very well maintained .
cons
can't think of any.... its just that buffet dinner serverd by the resort is strictly not for vegitarians
(saw many of them with empty plates) , for non vegitarians there are a lot of options apart from the set menu...indians will feel at home here as a lot of chefs are from india...
