Hi there i am on again to recommend a great place for your holiday ' Madives ' Paradise Island Resort & Spa an a great way to fly direct from Hong Kong to Male with Mega Airlines it only takes approx 6 hrs only to get there. The resort is great food is fantastic & snorkeling is great lots of colorful fish at times some baby black tip shark. The seafood restaurant at Farumathi is excellent & they also provided a shark feeding parfomance at the balcony at approx 8;00pm with some hotel staffs feeding the sharks it was real great to see a lots of sharks feeding.I would therefore recommend your next holiday visit. Me and wife we do this once a year, this is our fifth time & the best time to go is Nov-Feb

Accommodating staff, great food, best place to unwind and truly appreciate nature.. We had a great time at the hotel due to the warmth service they have extended to us; specifically, we would like to express our appreciation to Mr. Raman (for saving my friend’s slipper that has been blown into the water). Thank you for the hospitality you showed us during our stay.
A paradise indeed.

We went there for our honeymoon and stayed in one of the water villa. And Paradie was just beautiful!
The resort is about 20-25 mins of fun boat ride from the airport. As soon as we reached Male, we were greetd by hotel staff who took us to our boat towards the island. On arrival, we were greeted with welcome drink, and a cooling towel. We were then taken to our water villa.
It was Chinese New Year so we could not get best deals as far as price goes, but even then it was a fun trip. The staff is friendly and really nice. The Maldivian weather is good. We had breakfast buffet included in our package, and for food critics like us, there was a wide variety. Their were many food restaurants/bars and we enjoyed each one every meal. I wish they were better priced. We paid about$30 for food per person per meal. The resort has all facilities one needs: photographer/wedding, water sports/activities, clinic, pools, etc. The help desk was really nice too. I wish the SPA was a bit better in service.
The resort organizes many tour packages - we did island hopping and Male city tour for about $40 each per person. Snorkelling and kayaking are great too! For shopping, be cautious. You have to Bargain a lot!! Ask your tour guide to do that for you :) We also spotted many of the fish while walking on the beach and also the manta ray.

We will definitely go back!

I stayed at the Paradise Island Resort & Spa for 3 nights. The resort is large for Maldives standard. I noticed a lot of European and Asian Tour Operators were booking this resort.

Therefore a good number of Chinese guests and guests from Europe with children vacationed at the Paradise Island Resort.

Expect typical buffet food of average quality.
The rooms were what you expect from a standard family hotel and everything was well maintained. Dont expect the plush pillows and bedding standard in most luxury resorts.
I loved the "welcome to paradise cake" along with some fresh fruit I found in my room.

The hotel is close to Male airport and frequent boat shuttle is arranged by the resort.

The beaches were beautiful, clean and plenty. The hotel had a small pool.
I enjoyed the bar at sunset overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean.

The international staff was helpful and well trained.

Had an amazing 10 days honeymoon in October 2012!!First of all I want to mention that I am not very capricious in choosing hotel, so if it's clean - it's already not bad.We had a perfectly arranged transfer to the island from airport, quick and polite service at the check-in.In our room they prepared for us fruits with champagne and congratulations for wedding, was very cute.Beach bungalow where we were leaving had all the facilities, a bit old ,but Maldives is not the place where u go to stay inside of ur room, so for us was more than enough.Food was fine, apart that they didn't have pork ( muslim country, uh ).On our side of the island we had amazing coral reef.So guys it's better u bring ur own kit for snorkeling (u can also rent it there) and see beautiful underwater world! On another side the water was deep, so u can swim there. The island is not that small, so u can take a walk and enjoy the nature. In the end, we enjoyed alot!!We had a quiet lovely honeymoon there, just relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Maldives!

We spent 4 nights at Paradise Island in end May/ early Jun 2013. Ours was a last minute booking for a family of 2 adults & 2 kids in a beach bungalow. The pick up from the airport, speed boat ride and check in at the resort were all flawless. Then we were left to ourselves to find our bungalow- honestly not such a big deal with clear directions everywhere. The bungalow with the extra child bed was all set up. This efficiency was a constant feature at Paradise, even if the place is a bit impersonal. Our half board package gave us breakfast & dinner at Bageecha restaurant which were big spreads with a lot of choices. You get assigned a table for your stay and the same waiter assists you, not necessarily with a lot of warmth! The Italian restaurant also gives a lot of good choices. The bar, whether at sunset or noon, overlooks the lagoon and offers marvellous views.
White sands make the island very beautiful, and the clear waters were only a few steps from the rear gate of our bungalow. The weather during our entire stay was pleasant. The snorkeling, para sailing is top class, if a tard on the expensive side. But the staff there is excellent. The spa is decent without being a whole lot to gush about.
Like with Maldives all over, the waters are crystal clear and one can see marine life right through. A nice spot to see the multi coloured fish is from the jetty, views we have seen only in aquariums. On deaprture, the check out process was smooth and another boat ride to the airport and it was good bye to beautiful Maldives.
Some areas where we feel things may have been better--At times, we did see a few ants & insects in the bathroom, but I guess it is inevitable on a tropical island. The resort does seem a bit dimly lit up at night, but that too is a different kind of experience. The staff, while being efficient, do not offer any personal touch.

Room Tip: Ideally not very far from the reception and the water sports areas. One side has a lot of trees and...

We had been transfered from another resort to stay in paradise island for one night due to weather conditions before catching our flight. The beach villa was full of bugs and ants were to be seen everywhere on the floor inside the villa. We ordered room service for dinner and the food was so bad that we haven't even finished half of it.
