This is a perfect place for a Sunday lunch after a brisk walk in The Derbyshire countryside. You are welcomed by a good selection of traditional ales, great food and open fires that contribute to the genuine and warm atmosphere. We went there at Christmas and the staff were extremely helpful in trying to find a seat for my disabled relative, since we hadn't booked a table. This is also the only downside. It is a popular pub so make sure to book in advance if you want to be guaranteed a seat. I keep coming back here when I visit the UK and The Peak District.
