We live locally to the restaurant, so have been regular patrons over the last 18 months and have always been impressed. Although seemingly unnecessary at the time, the restaurant has recently undergone a renovation and the menu has also seen a make-over. The results are impressive and we now have a classy Thai-influenced restaurant just a short stroll away.
I would say that this restaurant is now best for groups where you order a variety of dishes to share. The pork belly and honey duck are fantastic. In fact I would agree with a previous reviewer that the only disappointment was in the Pad Thai, which is odd as the Pad Thai they used to prepare was superior to the current version.
They seem to offer breakfast now as well (eggs benedict etc), though I have only visited in the evening.
Helpful staff with attentive service.
The new bi-fold doors really open up the dining area. Love the new, chunky wooden tables. The kids even love the new sort-drink glasses!
The restaurant offers BYO for a charge of $3.50 (if I remember correctly) per person. If you arrive unprepared, there is a (drive-through) bottle shop at the North Sydney Hotel, one block North up Miller Street.
