Description: Placed on the white powdery sands of L'anse Aux Epines Beach, The Beach Club at the Calabash offers the perfect lunchtime setting. British chef Mark Banthorpe fell in love with the island's flavours, and this love lead him to create an exciting menu focused on Grenada's natural ingredients and spices. Lunch is served between 12 noon - 3pm and "tapas" bites and cocktails available from 10.30am - 6.30pm everyday.

Great restaurant with imaginative menu using local produce including tuna, snapper, baracuda etc.
So refreshing to have a chef mixing with his clients, sharing his expertise in the preparation of his dishes.A must for all desserts to be sampled, check out the banana crumble and brownie.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Mark B's friendly hospitality was surpassed only by his cooking - excellent. A good range of lunch options nicely presented in lovely surroundings. The banana crumble is worth a viit to Grenada on its own!
Nice live music on Sunday helped the atmosphere.

We enjoyed a leisurely and relaxing lunch here on 31.01.2013, sampling some of Mark B’s amazing “tapas” with a few glasses of Carib beer and a fine dessert. The master even brought the tapas out himself… The setting right at the beach is comfortable yet sophisticated, and the waitress, Teresa, was cheerful, efficient, and eager to recommend the most popular tapas. As our holiday in Grenada comes to a close, this has been our best lunch experience yet (a tie with BB’s Crabback perhaps). (For dinner the winner is the Aquarium, hands down.)

We visited Bash Restaurant by Mark B on the day we were leaving Grenada, and what a treat it was! The setting and ambience is everything you would expect from a relaxed laid back beach bar, however, the food is everything you would expect from a top quality restaurant. A lobster tail starter and the ribs to follow were excellent and as for the banana crumble, simply sublime! All that can be added to this is the superb service you would expect to receive from such a great restaurant which relies on its reputation.
