I had been to the Calabash twice before, but not for at least 8 years, so I was pleased to see that nothing had changed much & the hotel, staff & service were as excellent as ever. In the past, I had always been away with a friend, but this time had to go on my own. Everybody was so friendly, I didn't have the chance to feel lonely & I met some really nice people staying at the hotel too.
All the extra touches of having breakfast cooked for you & served on your own deck or balcony, the canapes & early evening drinks delivered to your room all add the luxury of this hotel & the Gary Rhodes trained chef ensures that dinner in the evening is delicious & nothing less than you would expect.
It was also very flattering to be remembered by some of the staff so my very best to Michael, Desmond, George & Sherlyn & a very big thank you to Betts for serving the best breakfast!More
