This was our second visit to this lovely boutique resort, although our last visit was way back in 1996.
It has changed a little, a bit larger and a great improvement in the accommodation which is now first class. The atmosphere was the same- a slow pace in an understated elegant fashion probably brought about by the lovely folk who seem to return here year after year.
The food in the two restaurants is exceptionally good. The staff incredibly sweet and helpful who make the place the super place that it is.
As I said the atmosphere is generated by the guests who return each year to a home away from home.It will be interesting to see with Clive the GM retiring if the new much younger management team can hold onto that feeling and return business. You can sense a want to do away with some of the niceties which make it what it is (h'ors devres ,sandwiches at tea time,,bar services on the beach.) All things that make commercial sense but may lose them clients.
It will be interesting to watch the TripAdvisor reviews in the months to come.
None the less a super 10 days we really enjoyed.More
