“Great breakfasts also!”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

We have visited this establishment many times, sometimes on a spur of the moment early Sat evening.,when we've both said don't fancy what's in the freezer!
The service and quality of food served at these times has been excellent.
Also they do a mean full traditional breakfast with lots of other options for those people who don't want eggs bacon etcetera.

“Poor food, poor service”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

Burnt toast, indifferent staff, grubby dark atmosphere, grim. Have been twice , disappointed on both occasions, unlikely to go again. Plenty of other place in town to eat, thank goodness.

“Seems to be improving”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

The tables are cleaner, and I am no longer avoiding leaning on them as they used to be very sticky and stained. The dirty crockery etc is not left for quite so long as it used to be. The staff look cleaner, smarter, and more efficient, as well as pleasant.
The furniture is quite shabby now and a makeover is overdue. As it is the usual Wetherspoons good value, and the Sudbury branch is well laid out and spacious, it already has great potential.

“A pleasant breakfast venue”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

Very spacious and not cramped atmosphere, this was a great place to get a good breakfast on a Sunday in Sudbury.

We had the Eggs Benedict and Pancakes with Bacon. They came out after a short wait, both hot and freshly cooked, and were very tasty.

Very good value, this came to under £8 for the two of us, including coffees. (they also serve lattes etc as decafs)

“Poor Service”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Needs a revamp, no atmosphere. Never enough staff behind the bar, so long wait. Tables never cleared, just cluttered with dirty crockery. This is the worst Wetherspoons pub I have visited. Positive side, good selection of beers.
