Delighted to see that someone has already used the title I was planning for this review: this is exactly what Lurgan needs, good food, reasonably priced, great staff. Once we had nothing, then Restaurant 47 came along and proved that Lurgan people will pay to eat, but it's so good we were beginning to think it had scared the competition off.
This however is a very different offering and well worth trying, much more casual, and offering takeaway as well. We've been for lunch and enjoyed it, although the coke servings at 2/3 of a regular glass seemed a bit mean.
Tonight's dinner was great however, with succulent meat and great sauces: be sure to try the burnt ends and chicken wings which are superb. As it's a 'cue restaurant, it's running with sausages, chicken, pork, brisket and ribs only, but maybe when they get established we might specials for the weekend at least. Or maybe a bit of an oul steak, but for now, this is a great spot, worthy of support. Well done!
