“Nice Cafe for Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014 via mobile

Popped in here for lunch on our way through Ripon and had a wonderful meal. Tasty handmade sandwiches and quiche and a lovely hostess/waitress/chef to speak to whilst waiting. Most of the ingredients are local and you can buy lots of goodies to take with you, like breads, teas and produce. Very cheap as well considering the quality of the food better than a Costa.

“A little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2014

Lovely little cafe owned and run by a lovely young lady who couldn't have been more friendly & obliging. All food home cooked using local produce and not a greasy chip in sight. Quiche to die for & a selection of delicious sandwiched on a choice of rustic breads ; not to mention the wonderful cakes. Sausage, bacon or egg sandwiches for the breakfast brigade but also a choice of salads for the health conscious. Best coffee in town. Chanced upon this gem when we visited on 1st July & so impressed returned with friends 2 days later. For those of you who live in Ripon give it a whirl; you won't be disappointed.

“Highly recommended”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014

Had two visits in quick succession and would highly recommend a visit here. The sandwiches and fillings are homemade and delicious and the cakes are great too.
You won't find a warmer welcome in Ripon - and you can even buy some of the home made bread to take home with you.
The only downside is that there isn't much seating available - but that does mean that you won't be surrounded either.
