I am a regular visitor to this gem of a cafe. All the food is home made and delicious. The atmosphere is so friendly and customers seem to chat to each other even though they have not met before. Definitely worth a visit.

A vintage inspired tea room with a welcoming host and delicious homemade cakes and specials. Would highly recommend the Mars bar slice. Tea is loose leaf and comes served in bone china and the 'afternoon tea' is an absolute bargain at just £9 per person! A perfect spot to meet friends or have a family lunch.

This is a lovely little tearoom, with a good selection of quality teas, tasty sandwiches and delicious cakes and scones. Highly recommend the milkshake served in a milk bottle.

We found this by chance wandering around Ripon last week. The tea and millionaires shortbread were served on a pretty selection of retro china, lovely décor all mismatched retro items which all fitted together beautifully. Good value, tasty and relaxing. Handmade Hall is a very interesting shopping area full of very nice stalls.

I found this little cafe just by chance while visiting the Handmade Hall in Ripon. A what a good 'find' it was too! Tea was served in a teapot, all the crockery was bone china. and the delicious food was all home-made. The cafe itself was clean, fresh and bright - with clever, well thought out decor throughout.
If you're looking for a 'traditional English' cafe in Ripon - either to take visitors to or simply for yourself - this is certainly the place to go.
The Handmade Hall is really worth spending time in too. I'ts full of individual little 'shops',- each selling things that you'd never find in the high street .
I have to admit that, before my visit, I've walked passed this place many times and never bothered to go in. But now I've been in, I will be going back!!
