Decided on a rare treat by going out for Sunday Lunch. Visite the Galphay Inn for 1st time. My heart sank when we arrived as looking a little run-down outside and few people in the pub. However, soon more diners came in and, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was great - meat very tender and veggies cooked just right - lots of flavour & a slight crunch. My veggie dish of caramelised onion & feta cheese tart lovely. Puddings delicious too. Apparently the current people took over the pub a few months ago, after it having been closed down for a while. Hope they do well and attract a loyal following-certainly worth the drive out. Outside could do with a bit of tlc though to make more inviting.
