Owners of the Bishopton Grove B&B > Susi and John Wimpress.
We stayed at the wonderful B&B during the easter w/end. We were greeted by John who made us feel like part of the family.
The room was so much more than we expected, it was very large....actually it was huge. The main bedroom had a comfortable double bed, large double wardrobe, sink by the bed, 2 very comfy chairs, tv, chest of drawers and a lovely selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. The ensuite was in the main bedroom, no bath but shower. The children had a bedroom to themselves, which was a very sweet room. Their were toys for little ones and books, paddington bear duvet, teddies, crocheted blankets......very very sweet.
The room was cleaned every morning, with fresh towels and the tea and coffee all topped up.
The breakfast was wonderful. The diet went straight out the window. We had a fried breakfast every morning, their was also the choice of toast with jams, cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, tea, coffee and fresh orange juice.
Susi the head chef, was a fab cook and a very friendly, warm person.
On the easter Sunday, we were surprised to see that we all had a chocolate egg on are plates when we went to the dinning room, a very touching, sweet thought.
Thankyou John for the morning entertainment.
The B&B is in a lovely quiet location in Ripon.
We paid £75 per night for a family of 4.
We travel to Ripon once a year and will always now stay with Susi and John. Wonderful, people, wonderful accomadation, wonderful setting.
