Went in January on a Friday evening. The restaurant was relatively quiet post Christmas.
Pleasant staff who seated us quickly took our drinks order. The full menu is very good but we all opted for the early bird menu at £7.95 for 1 course or £10 for 2 courses.
Our drinks were brought by a most pleasant and humorous man (Robbie?), who made us feel most welcome.
As we watched the rugby enjoying our drinks the food arrived. Now I always associate special deals like this with possible small portions, not so here. Both starters and mains were of excellent proportion as well as being fresh and delicious.
Overall a great meal and superb value.
