Off the beaten path and not within walking distance of a town, pub or restaurant, this hotel was nice. Rooms are modern and very clean. The countryside is pleasant. Two golf courses. Breakfast was full English-style.

The spa has 4 different types of indoor pools. One is small and shallow. Another is deeper and seems to be good for soaking or water exercise. There is a lap pool for serious swimmers. Finally, there is a hot tub.

Enjoyed our stay here very much.

Played a round of golf on the Kernow course, first time on this one as have played Nicklaus course before. Very impressed and enjoyed our game. Stayed in the hotel and the room was as good as before. Four of us ate in the Bistro which was very nice.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the course, worth the extra for the view and balcony

We stayed for a long weekend and found the hotel to be very comfortable. Our room overlooked the golf course and was clean and relatively spacious, the buffet breakfast was very good and we found the service in the bar was very attentive. We ate at the bar on one occasion and it was nothing exceptional, but ok and quite reasonably priced. As the weather wasn't great - typical rainy cornwall, we used the hotel pool & spa quite a few times, it was really nice and the gym very well equipped.

Room Tip: Request a room at the rear of the hotel, overlooking the golf course.

Firstly, the quality of the course is fantastic. Unfortunately, however, it didn't take long for some hotel service/staff issues became apparent. The tea/coffee didn't arrive until after finishing the food at breakfast (had to ask 3 times!). Service at lunch was unwelcoming to say the least - the staff serving the food made me feel like I was an inconvenience. Bar service following lunch was slow due to staff shortage. Would I return? Potentially but if I do it will only be to play golf.

We stayed at St Million's during the last week of August. We had a deal with the Telegraph, £250 for two nights DBB.

I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews, but all went relatively well.

Our room overlooked the 18th hole and was excellent, well equipped, comfortable and no noise.

We ate in the main restaurant on both evenings, the food on the first evening was very good, unfortunately one of the main meals on the second night was not eatable and was returned.

The restaurant manager was excellent and dealt with the problem exceptionally well.

Whilst not using the pool etc , they appeared to be very good. We did use the pitch and put and was great fun - 3 of the 4 do not play golf, other than the crazy type !

Overall, I would recommend the hotel for a relaxing break and would certainly like to return.

Great room size. We've stayed in the superior room with an amazing view facing the lake and the golf field. The staff were incredibly helpful, from reception to the bar and restaurant we were met by friendly attentive and professional staff .The food and drink were in good quality and very reasonably prices. Tony from the bar makes the amazing Cocktails. Highly recommend to everyone.

my friends and I stayed here for the bank holiday in August and I have to say its a wonderful place to stay. The golf is of the highest quality, the food and service are outstanding.
We really enjoyed the spa as well, perfect to cool down after a round of golf.Breakfast was superb giving us enough fuel to get to dinner which once again was delicious.if you get the chance try the Lamb with a bottle of the Argentinian malbec. This resort will not disappoint families, golfers or those wanting a romantic getaway, its a great place to stay and I cant wait to do it all again
