We stayed overnight travelling to Cornwall, recently has been refurbished, comfortable and now has two single beds either side of the double which is better for a family room. Friendly staff member greeted us when we turned up ( which wasn't until 10pm on the evening).

Last week my family and I stayed at 1 Premier Inn and 4 different Travelodge's within the Hampshire, Devon and Cornwall areas and having stayed any many different Travelodge's in the past I must say that Saltash was by far the worst I have ever stayed in!!!

Room 13

The doorways were filthy and light switch's grubby and in need of a very good deep clean!

The bathroom is in need of an upgrade, the floor was filthy there were stains in and on the bath around the handles were just disgusting, there was what looked like mold spots on the wall beside bath too.

Changing bedroom furniture and a new lick of paint is hardly newly refurbished and compared to the premier inn that we stayed in at the start of the week that was like new after their refurbish and a CHEAPER nights stay, made this particular Travelodge appear to be in a much lower league, definitely a few star ratings lower!!

As for my complaint to Travelodge, I have pictures to prove the lack of cleanliness of the room, and I am still waiting for a response. I HAVE NEVER HAD TO COMPLAIN BEFORE TODAY, TRAVELODGE HAS ALWAYS BEEN CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE AND WORTH THE MONEY.THIS ONE WAS JUST SO BAD!

Room Tip: Choose a different Travelodge in a different location if you are hoping to have a bath/shower in a c...

One of their modernised lodges, good bed and shower. Reception pleasant and efficient. Nice large car park. Our room facing the back was fairly quiet except for the odd lorry passing by. Eating is a bit of a problem if you don't want to drive. BurgerKing on site and Waitrose a short walk away - but read the reviews for Waitrose before you visit - limited snacks and queues of people claiming their free coffees!

Room Tip: The two of us used to ask for a family room to get a nice sofa to sit on. Be warned, this one gives...

Arrived around midnight to be greated by a friendly member of staff. We all(family of 4) slept well as the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Good value for money and usually have a good stay at this Travel Lodge. It would be nice to have a few extras in the rooms, but this would push the price up.

a real comfy stay. lovely big bed etc really clean.. good location with waitrose opposite and next door to a BP garage. on a roundabout. but quiet. Only one thing - they don't have a restaurant so no nice breakfast on offer. they have a burger king attached to it but not the same as a nice breakfast.
waitrose do food but they only do a bacon roll. there is a garden centre that do breakfasts but it is a bit of a greasy joes.
the hotel itself is really clean, nice bit shower.. friendly.. no issues and will return

I am loving the refurbished style and rooms. The staff were all nice. polite and smiled and spoke whenever we met in the corridors or reception. This makes all the difference, I do not like the thought of sitting in my room eating the breakfast box but the staff gave me plenty of alternatives which were welcomed. A very pleasant stay.

Upon arrival was greeting by receptionist and showed us to our room 21 and it was spacious with 2 tub chairs and the king size bed was soo comfortable, with pillows that were plumped and not flat!
Tea and coffee making facilities were great after a long journey and the room heater was ideal to just warm the room in the evening.
Burger King was attached and the hotel also offered breakfast boxes.
