We stayed in bungalow number 20, which is privately owned and not run by the park. It was very comfortable for us and our 4 and 7 yr olds. The park is great, friendly, feels very spread out with lots of green space and planting. The sports areas and pool were good too. Our kids very much enjoyed the forest walk. The beaches were 25 minutes away, with lots of rock pooling and surf and sand at low tide (Whitsand Bay). Plymouth aquarium was good on the day that it rained, although it was very crowded. The only slight problem with out stay is that the previous occupants we think of our bungalow left rather a stong smell of dog on the carpets. We would definately choose this park again as it was a good base for exploring west Devon and east cornwall, but would choose a property run by the park next time.

Our second consecutive year at Notter and our second dream holiday. We loved our cottage with a hot-tub, the welcome was lovely (flowers, cakes and essentials to help us settle from or long journey). The Park was just as last year, clean and tidy with that feeling of peace and security, and the pool was used regularly.

We explored South Cornwall, places old and new and we want to go back. I could probably spout on but you'd think I was a family member. We just love it here.

Very helpful and well equipped lodge. Good location for getting about. The hot tub was great even though they kept turning the temperature down!
We felt we we're being spied on by the owners creeping around our lodge checking the hot tub every morning is not necessary and to start laying flag stones and arranging plant tubs when we were in the lodge.
we forgot to mention when we left that there are mice in the loft in fern pippin and they might start chewing the electrics.

We of course respect the need for privacy and work very hard to create a good experience for our guests. We check our hot tubs every day in accordance with good practice and local authority health and safety guidance to ensure good water quality and to keep the water temperature at the recommended level. Guests are told about this daily check when they are shown around the cottage. Maintenance work such as dealing with an uneven paving stone, is also sometimes necessary. We try to do this when guests are out but this is not always possible. We deal with problems such as mice as soon as we are told about them.

We stayed in No20 for a week from the 4th August 2012. We found the park truly idylic. There is a very quiet, tranquil atmosphere in a very well maintained environment. We rented from Rebekah Cooke, who communicated well, despite being in France. Rebekah's house keeper, Chris, was also very pleasant and was VERY efficient in helping when he discovered that I had left my phone charger behind. There were just a few minor maintenance issues but for the rental fee these were really insignificant.
The only slight negative, contrary to other comments here, was that the reception from the park owners was far from enthusiastic - in fact we were made to feel like an irritation to him on each occasion that we encountered him - fortunately everything else was so great that we had no other need for his service.

The holiday was very relaxing, made so by the welcoming hosts who provided cake and flowers on arrival. The cottage was very spacious and although Plympton Pippin, our home for the week, didnt have a hot tub, the space allowed our family of 6 to enjoy our break. The Badminton and Tennis courts were a welcome outlet for our teenagers and the pool provided an outlet for me! The Olympics provided a backdrop to the holiday and instead of going out in the evenings we didnt venture too far from our lovely accomodation. During the day however, the A38 provided a quick escape to Devon or most of Cornwall. Looe and Padstow as ever were enjoyed and on a rainy day Plymouth provided much to do. A car is essential to make the most of this holiday. We would definitely return.
