“Everything about this place is fabulous”
Reviewed September 29, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

If your thinking about booking this place for a holiday - don't think anymore just book it!! You won't regret it.

Everything was so easy from the instructions to access the keys and the communication with Clive there was nothing to worry about.

We stayed here with my family which consists of myself my husband and our 4 children, very comfortable for 6 people. Great location, walking distance to all amenities and great location to explore the Peak District and Alton towers.

“Modern, clean and central, lovely place to stay.”
Reviewed June 7, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We had a lovely stay in Bakewell and the cottage surpassed expectations.

Only improvement would be a HDCP compatible TV so we could have streamed a movie from our pc or streaming box (AppleTV).

Fortunately there is a dvd player and selection of DVDs.

“Beautiful Cottage”
Reviewed May 7, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We stayed here during a wedding weekend in Bakewell. My nephew had some photos taken with his best man and ushers. I would highly recommend this cottage, it is tastefully decorated and in the centre of town.

“Stunning Cottage in great location!”
Reviewed May 3, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My friends and I recently took a trip to Bakewell in the Peak District and came across Coulsden Cottage.

The pictures don't do this lovely cottage justice. It is quaint yet modern with fantastic facilities including a dishwasher, en-suite bathroom and iPod docking station. It was very clean and the beds were so comfy. Loved the fact we had a pint of milk in the fridge and a packet of shortbread on arrival- great little touches that make all the difference!

Clive was very prompt with getting back to me and was really helpful!

I would really recommend this gorgeous cottage, right in the heart of stunning countryside and lovely walks!

“Quality cottage”
Reviewed September 20, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

A very well equiped accomodation in a quiet poisition, handy for the town of Bakewell.
However, the internal descriptions need ammending for greater accuracy.
Saying there are three bathrooms is stretching the immagination as there is a ground floor toilet, then upstairs a double en suite and two further bedrooms with a shared shower room/ toilet. As a previous person remarked be aware one room is very dark with twin beds, and the other contains a double futon but does have an outside window..
Overall though, warm and cosy holiday cottage enjoyed by my party.

Management Response
Sep 21, 2015
We are pleased that you enjoyed the cottage and found it very well equiped.
However, we have to take issue with your criticism of our description. The problem lies not with us but with this website. When you list the details of the facilities in the cottage this website counts a toilet as a bathroom even though the box that we have ticked says toilet only.

“Superb cottage and location”
Reviewed May 31, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Coulsden Cottage is located in the middle of Bakewell so makes it a superb location to access local facilities. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs and is immaculately presented. All rooms and linen are of a very high quality. Will definitely return to Coulsden Cottage.
