I have been going and taking friends and family here for many years. The food and the surroundings are superb. Many special occasions have been spent here, and Hassop Hall never fails to deliver the goods. The staff are really very good and attentive, and make you visit very special. The food is of the best quality and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Hassop Hall

Simply the best, been here a hundred times over the years. They have spent a fortune on the hotel since buying it in the 1970's and it is superb. Great service, excellence and professionalism not in short supply.

We have recently been to a celebration lunch at Hassop Hall, and it was truely faultless. The welcome we received upon arrival, the warmth and ambience of the hotel, and of course the excellent food made the whole event a truely wonderful and memorable occasion. Thank you Hassop Hall!

This venue for a meal is as good an example of a country house hotel as is possible to imagine. The building, dripping with history, the tasteful decorations, the piano gently playing in the entrance hall, the log fire offering a welcome glow as the visitor enters, all contribute to an anticipation of excellence.
A pre-dinner drink in the comfortable bar continues the good impression as does the dining room with it's starched tablecloths and sparkling cutlery and glass ware.
The food is very good, there are no complaints but the expectations after the magnificence of the buildup are high. Does the standard of the food live up to the imagination built up? It could raise itself to the magnificence that the bill implied. It could be the best but isn't yet.

Standing in the fabulous peak park this place retains a feel of old fashioned luxury yet keeping it's menu and outlook up to date. When we stayed they gave us a great deal and the service, room and food were of the highest standard. It looks lovely too. Our close friend Libby has been going here for years treating herself, friends and family whenever the opportunity arises. ALL the local farmers can be found here at lunchtimes treating the hard working "farmer's wife to a rare day out.
