“Perfect”
Reviewed May 5, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We were a big group up in Bakewell for a wedding and it was perfect for us.

Maggie is very nice and quick to respond. The property itself is more than big enough for 12 people.

The area at the top of the property when the sun is out is brilliant.

The location is great for walks in the area too.

Loved it!

“Fantastic house and location!”
Reviewed April 25, 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pictures don't do the house justice. Lovely spacious accommodation for families or groups. Great attention to detail. Would definitely book again.

“Lovely house in great location - near centre of interesting town but can also walk out into countryside”
Reviewed March 18, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We really enjoyed our stay here - there was plenty of space and we didn't feel on top of each other. House has a pleasing mix of personal pictures/photos so doesn't just feel like you're in a generic template of a rental place, but at same time everything feels clean and fresh. Great views from the top terrace (would be a delight to come back to this in summer!) though as it was, we stayed a couple of weeks before Christmas and really appreciated the tree and decorations put up by the owner. A short walk to get into the surrounding hills and lovely walk down old mill race to centre of town where there are lots of pubs, cafes and shops to wander between.

“Lovely house in a lovely town”
Reviewed February 1, 2015 for a stay in January 2015

The house was cosy and comfortable, but also able to accommodate a lot of people without all being on top of each other. It was well equipped and in a good location, and Bakewell is very pretty with good shopping and amenities.

“Beautiful spacious cottage perfect for weekend away with friends”
Reviewed January 27, 2015 for a stay in January 2015

A lovely house, great location a few minutes from the town centre. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of space in the house for a large group, stylish but comfortable, with some really nice personal touches. Warm and cosy for a winter weekend, but would love to visit again in the summer to enjoy the terrace and garden and the lovely views. Would definitely recommend a stay here to others.

“Beautiful property, beautiful location - a home away from home”
Reviewed January 26, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We had an amazing few days in Bakewell. The house was perfect for a family. Rooms comfortable, living space generous and location to village perfect. I would highly recommend for a family holiday away.

Liked best: I was able to walk into Bakewell within minutes by turning right out of the front gate and be on a lovely rambling walk by turning left
Liked least: They'd be more than a coop in Bakewell, although there are lovely farm and fruit and veg shops

“Great Property but needs some tlc”
Reviewed January 22, 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We had another great holiday staying at this house. The house is well equipped and in a great location, 10 mins walk into Bakewell town centre. We would definitely recommend the house to others but a few repairs need doing first and the house needs a thorough clean (cobwebs and dirty rugs for example)
