Having had breakfasts, lunches and coffee at this lovely oasis in Chesterfield, I was at a loss to take a client somewhere different for a dinner out.
This more than fitted the bill. Everything was faultless and my client so impressed with its ambience food and service.
The overall value for a meal of this standard was very good. Interpretations on Italian classics, creamy sauces and amazing presentation combined with exceptional 'unstuffy' but attentive service makes this ahead in my book for dining in Chesterfield .
I didn't have desert, but the coffee was in a good sized cup not a thimble.
Starter was a ravioli in a cream if blue cheese and walnut sauce, my main the chump of lamb with the breast of lamb and trimmings. Veg were served separately and were perfect.
When you look at my pricing, starters are £5 and upwards, mains assorted but say £10 to £15. Wines not overpriced. Look online at the menu and prices. I knew what I wanted before I left home!
