“Bad attitude”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

We like the takeaways but when my wife went to pick up our meal the manager told her we had to pay double as we hadn't paid last time and was very rude. Luckily she managed to look at her banking online while she was waiting and showed the manager that she had paid and compared the amount with the receipt he had.
They still didn't apologize after they accepted it was their mistake so I won't be going back there to be abused.

“Lovely experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

Liked the way we were welcomed to sit down and buy drinks before being shown to our table which had the poppadums and pickles we had ordered already there. Very reasonably priced good meal.

“Defiantly not having a take away from here again”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

I have been here a few times in the past and the gourmet evenings are good value but not the best, the take away how ever really disappointed, every thing was far too hot and bland, the breads were basically empty of filling and the popadoms were chewy. Will not be going here again

“Never disappoints”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2013

Just enjoyed another Gourmet Night at the Jaipur (every Wednesday and Thursday, £10.95 PP for starter, main dish, vegetable dish, rice or nan bread and sweet) and found everything just as good as it always has been every time we've visited.

Very friendly and attentive service, lovely tasty food and excellent value. Unlike some others, I rather like the fact that the service charge is added to the bill - I'm happy to pay it, and don't have to worry about working out whatever might be seen as a fair percentage.

Good to see so many people eating earlier in the evening - not just the usual 'after closing time' brigade.

“Not that great”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

Jaipur do a 'buffet on Tuesdays and Wednesday' from a different menu; £10.75 (last time I went) for a starter, main, side dish, rice or poppadom. The staff are freindly and attentive, but a tad slow.

We used to go here monthly for a business meal, a large group, and at times the service was poor, and the food poorer still.

Now the Jaipur has competition (another indian restaurant just up the street) I would hope it's upped its game?
