Our family has been eating in, or having takeaways from, the Jaipur for more than six years and our feeling now is that the restaurant is better than ever not only for consistently excellent food but also for the friendly and efficient service which adds to the enjoyment of the overall experience.
The 'Gourmet Nights' on Wednesdays and Thursdays are great - a choice of starter, main course, side dish, rice or nan and sweet or coffee for £10.95 is a brilliant deal made all the better by the fact that each of the dishes can well stand comparison with the best that its rivals can offer in terms of flavour and variety. They've become a regular bright spot in our working weeks recently!
If you enjoy Indian food, we thoroughly recommend you to try the Jaipur - the quality of the cooking is excellent, with subtleties as well as spiciness in every shade from mild to very hot. All in all, this is so much better than your average 'curry shop' - it's a real restaurant that in our view is well worth a visit.
