“Unique & special spot, exactly as described!”
Reviewed August 13, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

10 Tory is a special spot, and the description provided is very accurate. It is a quiet little hideaway, but within easy walking of Bradford on Avon town centre. You need to be able to handle walking a distance up/down hill to/from your car or town, but this all added to the character and charm of the location for us. It is a great place to explore the myriad things to see and do in the area, whether on foot, by car, or even by boat!
It was a peaceful and restful spot for us to return to, with its own view of the Cherhill white horse in the distance. The steep terraces of cottages were full of interest and charm, and a real suntrap. The location adds to the sense of discovery and exploration, but could just as easily be somewhere a couple could hole up for some quality time together.
Everything provided is of good quality, wonderfully clean and bright, and attractive. Masses of information was provided on things to see and do, and on every aspect of the accommodation, plus local support numbers.
There is no question that this is a real "find" for the traveller looking for something just a little out of the ordinary and special. Enjoy!

“Quiet, comfortable with lovely views in a character terrace”
Reviewed June 18, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at 10 Tory, and could have stayed much longer. It is a perfect base to explore the surrounding countryside, Bath, Lacock, Wells etc. Bradford on Avon itself is worth exploring.

The flat has a spacious kitchen and living/dining, with everything you could need to self cater, although there is no microwave. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine/dryer. Great if you are travelling around the country, as we are, as it gave us a break from hand washing.

The bedroom is comfortable, although there is not a lot of room around the bed on one side, as it is almost against the wall. Could be a problem if you have mobilitty issues.

I wouldn't recommend for mobility problems as it is quite a walk from parking, including steps. You have to leave the car in a nearby cul de sac and walk about 3 minutes to reach the flat.

It is a lovely place to stay, quiet, sunny, the flat is full of light with lovely views over Bradford on Avon across to the white horse carved on the opposite hill. There is a little garden to sit in. It is just a couple of minutes walk downhill to pubs and restaurants, and there are supermarkets in walking distance too. There are character buildings all round, including the flat itself.

“A charming little nest”
Reviewed May 20, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We stayed here for 5 wonderful days (was our honeymoon), i didn't regret my choice. The place is a bit difficult to access (on top of a small hill), but it's widely worth it! Clean, well equiped, Confortable and excellent value for money.the down is also absolutely beautiful.

“Excellent flat for a weekend break”
Reviewed April 28, 2014 for a stay in April 2014

I rented out this flat for my boyfriend and I for the weekend and it was absolutely lovely. The location is in a beautiful row of terraces overlooking the town which is really picturesque. We wanted to be close to Bath so we could visit by train, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. We found the keys and got into the flat without any problems at all based on the instructions provided. It does feel quite small when you first walk in but for two of us it was perfect and we had more than enough space. The flat is south facing (I think?) so it gets lots of light and is really bright and airy - especially with the stable door style front door half open. The flat had everything we needed and was well equipped, and the garden/terrace is a great addition. It was also located within only a few minutes walk from the town, with free on-street parking available behind the row of terraces. Everybody we met was really friendly and helpful and we actually spent more time in and around Bradford then we did in Bath. I would have liked to stayed a third night and I would rent it again. It is really good value. Thank you Alice!

“perfect for weekend - or longer”
Reviewed September 18, 2013 for a stay in February 2013

we stayed here over a very cold weekend in February. It was cosy, well-equipped and a great place to pretend we really live in Bradford on Avon. Hope to return soon when the weather is warmer! So envious of the reviewers here who stayed for weeks.

“lovely time in Bradford-on-Avon”
Reviewed August 12, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Had a lovely time staying at 10 Tory for a few days this August, it's a very nicely decorated wee home away from home. The double bed is extremely comfortable and the sofa bed was great too. We especially liked eating dinner in the pretty garden out front and the lovely view.
