Just been there for lunch to celebrate my youngest's 21st for lunch with the family.
What a delightful place it is. The staff are charming, the food was delicious and the wine list really very good indeed. Had various starters including hot mackerel salad - mine and just brilliant, main courses ranging from a perfect risotto to braised beef with bubble and squeak. The wine , a brouilly, was just perfect for all the meals, the wine chappie was really helpful.
The building, which had stood empty for 23 years after a family dispute over a will has been lovingly restored which makes the whole experience all the better.
Really nice loos and starched napkins.
Wonderful, you must try it
