Cosy evenings, log fires, great walks, early morning egg collecting from the farm and a fab local pub! Thoroughly recommended for a traditional English village experience:)

Hi Bob and Lindsay
Obviously haven't gone home yet, but had to write a review to say how much we are enjoying staying here at Brook Cottage. House is lovely and cosy, so much atmosphere and comfort and Hannah has been wonderful. Really appreciated the biscuits and milk on arrival and we love the helpful hints books re places nearby to eat etc. Had lunch at Longs Arms on Sat (my birthday) and it was fantastic; I had the soup, great, but Martin had lamb pie and it's one of those meals, you wish you'd had what partner ordered! Most amazing pie, to die for Location v good for looking round the area, taking the train to Bath tomorrow, easier than driving. Thanks so much for ideas for walking dog, Zola, had a wonderful walk this morning, then went and sat outside (in November) at the Barge for a quick pint, watching boats go by. V impressed by your really helpful service, cottage equipment and general help! Would love to return, although such a long way from Yorkshire, probably not soon!

We have just spent 4 days at the cottage very clean with a welcome pack of tea coffee milk and a lovely cake waiting for us much appreciated, within easy reach of Bath, in a lovely quiet and peaceful hamlet, the cottage was like home from home thank you, yes we would recommend this holiday to friends and family.

We stayed at Brook Cottage during a family holiday to the UK. It was a fantastic place to stay, 350 yo but with a modern kitchen and bathroom.
The location is fantastic, easy drives to Bath, Stonehenge and Avebury. The local pub, "the Plough" serves wonderful food.
The only thing is - the stairs are steep and a sort of spiral. Our kids loved them but don't stay here if you cant do steep stairs.

The cottage was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Peaceful location but within easy access to Bradford On Avon.Deborah was very
helpful and we appreciated her advice on catching the train into Bath so much
easier than looking for parking.
The cottage was perfect and was well furnished and had everything you could
have wanted. So much to see and do in the environs.Would book again.
