We had booked a table in the tapas bar that I believe is upstairs but as it was mid-week in January and they were quiet we were given a table downstairs in the Fat Fowl restaurant.
The tapas menu is a brief list of dishes so it helps if you're familiar with the Spanish names because English descriptions are mainly absent. We ordered eight dishes between the two of us and thought they were all delicious. This may be too much food for some people but we love our food and it was our first visit so we were keen to sample a good selection.
The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, and the tables nicely spaced. The subdued lighting with candles on the tables is just right. The young waiter was appropriately friendly and attentive.
I thoroughly recommend the tapas. We enjoyed everything that was served to us and will definitely return soon.
