Great day out, something for everyone. Book on line for best prices and you need to arrive early if you want to do everything. Study the attractions map and plan your day as most attractions have queues. There were long queues for the safari but well worth the wait to see the animals up close.
lots of opportunities to feed the animals at extra cost £1 a time but well worth it if you have kids. Food prices high, as always in these places and food quality/service not good.
Make sure you visit the house some amazing rooms to see.

Longleat has something for anyone. The safari is great and having a CD to guide you around is an excellent idea. Seeing all of the animals was amazing. The house is very impressive though you only get to see a small part of it. The attractions such as the boat trip and railway train are good fun and add something different to the day. There were a lot of attractions aimed at children which we didn't do but there was plenty to keep yourself amused. There is also a wide range of places to eat and drink if you choose, or to keep costs down, you could take a picnic. A great day out for everyone in your family.

Visited Longleat Safari Park and really enjoyed our day. 4 adults and 2 children went on or into most of what was on offer. We came away feeling our entry fee well worth the money. Considering Longleat dosnt open till 10am there were many(hundreds) cars alread in the grounds when we arrived at 9.55. Going that early you get to see the Animals feeding. Can recommend Longleat to all age groups. Most importantly we didnt feel we were being ripped off.

Far too expensive. Cannot take in your own food so you have to buy the poor quality expensive food they have on offer. Attractions are tacky, lots of fibreglass statues and annoying music.

Thank you very much for your review SteveCorner. Just to confirm, you are able to bring your own food to Longleat and we do have a dedicated picnic area. We do also have many great catering outlets here on site, with a wide range of different options to suit all tastes and budgets - everything from chocolate teacakes to our popular new BBQ ribs! We take constant feedback from our visiting guests and the reviews we receive on the value of our tickets compared to what we offer here at Longleat tend to be extremely positive, however we are sorry if you did not feel this to be the case. We appreciate your feedback and hope that overall you did enjoy your day.

Have just been to longeat safari park and it was great. We chose to use the safari bus (£4pp extra) but it was worth it as the damage that the monkeys do to your car can be expensive! We went on the seal ion boat too and that was included in the day pass but if you wanted to feed them it was £1 a pot ( 2 fish).
The main square away from the safari park is well organised and you can go into lots of the enclosures and get really close to the meerkats ( so cute), parakeets and the marmoset monkeys are free above your head too!
The food is quite pricey but I think it always is at animal attractions!
It was a very good day out, and will go back next year when the elephant sanctuary is complete.
