My first visit here after seeing it on the television, and I was not disappointed. The drive through safari park was brilliant, we had opportunity to see all the animals and the bonus was that the four baby cheetah were outside playing in the sunshine. We spent all day on site, finishing with the Festival of Lights as the sun went down. Would recommend it.

My first time to Longleat and it won’t be my last as one day isn’t enough to everything. The boat trip and drive through safari were awesome with the added bonus of being able to feed the deer in the park and the sea lions from the boat. Friendly staff who have time for you. A big shout out to the lovely Vanessa in the African Village and the Bat girl who spent a lot of time with us talking about the bats. The staff really seem to love their jobs and the animals are well looked after. Only gripe was that the food in the African Village cafe was overpriced and poor quality. The rest of the place was fantastic and we will definitely be visiting again.

This place was amazing , jam packed from the minute we got there till the time we left , and we still did not feel like we wanted to go home .Defiantly get there for bang on opening time as you want to make the most of the day . If you go in the maze be prepared to spend some time in there, its not easy !! but loads of fun .
When you go through the safari make sure you have some change as there is a bit were you can buy some food for the deer and hand feed them, through the car window

Oh and if you love your car don't go in the monkey drive through bit ..... but again still loads of fun

We were at Longleat for the whole day, taking in the safari drive, house and Festival of Light. This was a wonderful day and we cannot say how wonderful the Festival of Light was, with the glorious displays, which were awe inspiring. Cannot recommend it enough

We traveled the 3+hours down to Longleat having seen the light festival advertised online. Staying just 10 minutes away meant we were able to get to the park just after it had opened at 10am. It was relatively quiet for the first two hours we were there which was great. Our two year old loved the indoor soft play area, the outdoor castle themed playground and the smaller toddler focused insect play area which we had almost sole use of.
The rocking rhino ride went down a treat (two trips round) as well as the farm where our daughter stroked the donkeys. We visited the animal handling section, holding the snake and tarantula was great and the handlers were very knowledgeable. The bat cave was a fun experience, the butterfly house was quite underwhelming (time of year perhaps) but the walk through bird avery was excellent. the £1 pot of nectar was worth every penny for the hands on experience. We enjoyed the walk through meerkats and lemurs too.
The safari was excellent, being handed the CD so our journey through had commentary was a lovely touch, and seeing the destructive monkeys and the tigers and lions up close was a real highlight.
From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the park and our walk round Longleat house itself, and just when we thought it couldn't get any better... the lights turned on... WOW! It was spectacular, well organised and there was just so much to see around every corner. Ending with the enchanted Christmas tree show which finished the day off nicely.
After a full 8.5 hours at Longleat we commented on what excellent value for money the day had been and how thoroughly enjoyable it was. I would urge anyone to visit this clean, friendly and activity packed place where the animals seem loved and well looked after.

We visited here as part of a coach trip and have to say glad we booked the trip. We had a good couple of hours driving around the safari park, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The funniest and most entertaining monkey enclosure we have ever experienced. Some poor souls lost a few car parts to those cheeky monkeys.
The animals were easy to see, which we were surprised by as it had been raining.
We also got to walk around the grounds but due to the time of year we had very limited time to see the other animals before it got dark.

The festival of light is suitable for all ages. It does cater for prams and wheelchairs as there were plenty of ramps down the steps. It covers various topics from animals to outer space.

Will definitely be visiting again so we can view the rest of the animals and the house too.

Took the Grandchildren for half term & found the whole day excellent. Safari drive is brilliant & saw all the animals. The park & house are also first class & food outlets as good as you get. Certainly well worth a visit.

Visited Longleat Safari park as a VIP visitor to feed the tigers. What an experience. All staff we met were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Tigers Red and Yana were amazing. This was my Christmas present and I couldn’t have asked for anything better (apart from seeing them in the wild) thanks to all the staff. The pictures say it all
