“Perfect Family Break near Longleat”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

We have just returned from a lovely weekend away at Home Farm, near Warminster.
We had a family room with a double bed plus 2 single beds in the same room for our 2 children aged 6 and 3.
The beds were very comfy (even our children said so!), the breakfasts were fantastic and the room had everything we needed, including kettle, small fridge, coffee & tea & hot chocolate, plus some lovely biscuits!
Our children also loved the cuddly toys, lego, books & bath toys that were provided. The bathroom had a lovely spacious shower which was better than so many provided in much grander hotels, and the bath was a welcome treat for the kids after a long day out. We visited Longleat on one day and Wookey Hole on the 2nd day, both of which were great days out which the kids really enjoyed. Our hosts were very hospitable and welcoming, and were great with the children. Trish even printed out a voucher for us so that the kids went for free at Wookey Hole, which was a lovely touch, and she recommended a few pubs/restaurants which we visited and were very happy with. The location was lovely and peaceful with views across fields from our room. I would visit again and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Longleat or the surrounding area.

My 10 yr old & I stayed overnight for a weekend visit to nearby Longleat Safari & Adventure Park. Great night's sleep, lovely shower to freshen and/or wake one up & a v filling English breakfast! We loved our short but excellent stay. Trisha (the hostess) left a selection of books for my son which made him happy & we both felt quite at home. Home Farm ... the name speaks for itself. Thank you!!! Kathy & Alex.

We stayed for two nights at the start of the season - really comfy beds, beautiful location, Colin and Tricia were so willing to help. Breakfasts excellent. We didn't have a car so walked into Warminster - twenty minutes to half an hour, very easy route, and got to stay in the countryside too. Perfect.

Absolutely the best value in the area. If you intend staying in Warminster for a few days or a few weeks and are looking for a B & B then this is the best. Trisha and Colin are perfect hosts and provide excellent service, well worth the money.

Visiting friends in Warminster just prior to Christmas we stayed at Home Farm, which was delightful. The Hosts Colin and Trisha were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The bedroom and en-suite were spotless and well equiped. The full English breakfast was superb and set you up for the day. We would highly recommend Home Farm, as our stay was entirely satisfactory.

We were welcomed into this immaculate, friendly home with tea and cake - a lovely start to a happy stay. The room was well-equipped, bed exceptionally comfortable, bathroom pristine. The breakfasts were superb - I do not like traditional English breakfasts but my husband does and we were both suited perfectly - a superb selection of freshly prepared fruit, good choice of cereals, etc. and the full English was high quality bacon, etc. and it was all delicious. Free internet, peaceful garden to sit in, helpful advice about evening venues, we could not fault Home Farm and hope to return. Although it is very easy to find, and near to Stourhead and Longleat, it is well set back from the road so the evenings are quiet and restful - very highly recommended.
