Based on our previous stays at Meadowpark Lodge (please see reviews), we booked two more nights this time. Glad to say, Rosie has maintained her high standards and it was a pleasure to stay once more. The rooms, food and friendliness are all as expected i.e. excellent! We will continue to stay at Meadowpark Lodge whenever we're in Portstewart and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: In a quiet locality, so all rooms shouldn't be noisy

This proved to be a basic Bed and breakfast. We arrived unannounced and a man said he believed he had vacancies but needed to telphone his "partner" who confirmed that a room was available. The room had a comfortable bed, clean towels one chair, a kettle (no water), chocolate biscuits and clean cups. On the second day it had clean towels, no biscuits and the dirty cups from the night before. The cooked breakfast was good, supplemented by a small selection of cereals, juice (orange only) and some over ripe fruit, though on the second morning it had been replaced by edible fruit.

While many of the things taken for granted in most establishments were missing, the price reflected this - it was the lowest amount we have paid this year and for someone looking for a very basic establishment on a low budget this one was clean and the proprietors courteous.

A treat after a long day driving from Belfast and visiting the Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede bridge. Lovely greeting by the hostess Rosie. Beautiful room decorated with a great attention to detail and including a well-appointed bathroom both spotless. Comfortable beds--we slept very well. We did not travel in to the town of Portstewart as we were tired after a long day so went to the restaurant across the street and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Wonderful breakfast in the morning with lots of choice and freshly prepared. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again in the future. Great value for the price.

Room Tip: We were facing the road and had the windows open, the noise was not a concern.

I stayed here for around 19 weeks with 2 other PGCE students from September 2011 to May 2012 and it was quite simply excellent! The room was always clean, homely and full of all the modcons you could possibly need. Rosie is always welcoming and friendly and was so kind to us throughout the year. We were always welcomed with a smile and made to feel at home and Rosie and Pauline took great care of all three of us. I would recommend any post-primary PGCE student to stay here while at Uni in Coleraine, it is the perfect place and an absolute paradise, you will not find a kinder owner or as stylish and modern B&B anywhere!

Room Tip: Room 5 was my favourite but all the rooms are excellent!

Very friendly and most welcoming, Found it on Tripadvisor and would agree with many of the reviews, a little expensive but we were there during the Irish Open Golf Competition. Excellent Breakfast.
