The staff here was the friendliest we have ever encountered. We spent a long time talking to them and they made us feel like we were the most important people who had ever come. If we had not already joined the national trust, we would have after their attnetion to us. We had not expected much of the house as were looking at older buildings and ruins, for the most part, but the preservation of this house was fantastic and the written info was really good. When we had questions, the volunteers knew the answers and took great pride in providing the information. They spent a good amount of time directing us to other places that they thought we would like. It was a surprisingly good exhibit.
