“Ideal holiday home”
Reviewed May 3, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We were at Yellow Cottage for five days in April. A family of five adults and a dog. The accommodation was excellent in a quiet location and with everything we needed.
We know the area well and it is a terrific place to visit.
Although we didn't meet Keith when I phoned he was very helpful and generous when we needed an extra day at short notice.

All in all it provided everything we needed for our time in the area.

“Love Yellow Cottage and Castlerock”
Reviewed March 17, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We have stayed in Yellow Cottage several times and love the homely, modern, spacious feel.  Everything is provided for you in the house that you would have at home and we love the fact that we can take the dog.  There is a garden at the back with a little stream which is lovely to sit in on a good day.  In more compromising weather you can enjoy a roaring fire in front of the very large flat screen TV or play games which have been thoughtfully provided by the owners.  There are three good bedrooms and bathroom, then lounge, kitchen/dining, toilet and utility downstairs.  It is situated about three minutes drive from  the beautiful beach which is excellent for families and dog walking.  There are a couple of local bars with restaurant, a pharmacy, grocery store, butchers and it has a railway stop which goes to Derry or Coleraine.  You can have a great Guinness at Berthas Bar.  There are other garages, stores, restaurants and takeaways if you drive a bit further to the main road.  It is always a pleasure to visit Yellow Cottage, explore the area and feast your eyes on the breathtaking views - it's a little gem on our beautiful Northern coast.

“Great weekend ”
Reviewed February 14, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

There was 6 of us.
We all had a great time and are planning to book again.
The house has a great vibe and was spacious.
The bottom floor was very sociable with the open fire made very homely.
Would highly recommend.

“A home from home....”

A spacious and obviously loved family home... all you need is provided. The house is immaculately maintained! Every detail is considered from deck chairs for the garden for warm weather, books and DVDS for grey days, to spare mattresses under beds in the children's bedroom for unexpected guests!!!

The house is a short walk from the village and beach and of Black Glen with its access to Downhill Demesne and Mussenden Temple. The historic temple balances on the cliff edge and over looks nearby Downhill beach...

Reviewed July 7, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

My husband and two teenagers stayed here for.a couple of days. The house was perfect and had everything you could possibly want including free wi-fi which is very important for the teenagers. The house was within walking distance of the town, beach and golf club. The owner was very hellpful and accomodating.

Clean property in a quiet area. Perfect for exploring coast or even a trip to Donegal! Pet friendly and adequate space can park right atcfront of house. Would def recommend ...only complaint is im not a keen walker and house is right at the back end of the delevopment...its a pity it isn't a bit closer to the beach and shops... x

Thanks for the great review Lynn, I'm really glad you enjoyed your break. As you say, it is a very quiet & secure cul-de-sac but unfortunately that come with the price of being at the end of the line.
Hope to see you again. Regards, Keith.
