“Great coffee”

Great coffee fresh food and super helpings. Packed to gills, shame about the queues. Shame about the 20 steps you have to climb up.

“Worth travelling for”
Reviewed September 2, 2012 via mobile

Just lovely generous helpings of lovely fresh food. Always packed out and deservedly so. Nice surroundings. Excellent coffee and unusual smoothies and delicious home made soup. Specials change regularly so always a good choice and food has thoughtful touches which make it a little more adventurous than average. We travel here regularly for lunch (and maybe a wee walk on the beach).

“Love this place”
Reviewed August 24, 2012

Every time we visit Castlerock, we always go to Crusoes, not just for the excellent food and coffee, but also for the friendly service. It's always buzzing and our children love the menu too which is a big bonus.

“Best coffee and Scones in the UK?”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

We've been coming every summer since it opened. Wonderful coffee, fab scones and lovely people. Can get busy, but they handle that well. Nothing to touch it for miles around.

“"A hidden gem"”
Reviewed May 6, 2012

The approach is not inspiring being upstairs above a butchers but it is well worth the effort. Excellent coffee and a wide range of panninis, bagels etc. My wife had the homemade soup which she declared excellent. Staff were attentive and courteous. It is not the biggest restaurant and there was a small queue when we went but the ambiance and food soon made us forget that. Well worth a visit.
