We stay here quite often with our tourer. A very well family run site with a mix of static and touring sites, with a new toilet block just built. The only thing they don’t seem to have is dish washing facilities (no large sinks for doing your pots and pans). You get a card on arrival for entry and if you require another you pay a returnable deposit. Visitors must park outside the park, which is a good idea– only resident’s cars in car park. There is a little safe play park which the kids will love and of course you are close to all the amenities at Benone. We have always found the staff at reception very friendly and helpful and keen to welcome you back. We had to cancel a night once because we had a funeral to go to and they gave us a credit note to come back for another night. Another very nice asset to this site is that if you intend to come back the next weekend, there is a holding bay were you can leave your caravan at a small cost. If you are traveling up to Belfast the cost of storage for the week would be less than the price of the petrol to tow the van up and down again. The site is kept very clean and the grass well cut by the owners. The wind can be strong on this site as there are no trees or hedges, so you need to peg down well, but if you do that, you should have no problem.
