We stayed here for one night as we were attending a family wedding in the hotel. The room itself was excellent and spacious, easily accommodating three children (aged 9, 5 and 1). We also enjoyed the pool but did not explore the grounds as the weather was so bad that weekend.

Unfortunately it was the reception staff that put a dampner on our stay. As wedding guests are greeted and served refreshments in the main hotel reception area there is an inevitable mingling of wedding and non wedding guests. We did not mind this on the day of the wedding however the following day we had planned to check out and then remain at the resort for a few hours to enjoy the facilities - as we were encouraged to so the previous day. After a swim we sat in the foyer and when the bar opened at noon ordered food for the children. Cleaners were hoovering around us and that day's wedding was being set up. The staff were at this point quite unfriendly and treated us like we were an inconvenience. One receptionist in particular kept tutting as guests sat on sofas after she had plumped cushions and rolled her eyes when we requested teas and coffees. She even went as far to tell one of the cleaning staff she was tempted to throw us all out if we didn't leave soon. I was angered by this comment having spent a lot of money in the hotel and felt very unwelcome. Obviously the welcome lasts only as long as the wedding you are attending. I was glad to be heading home rather than staying an extra night as had been our original plan. I will not be back and will not be telling my friends who are getting married to consider this hotel. Very average!

Thanks to a French air traffic controller strike our recent trip to Paris was cancelled. An hour back at home on the internet secured a 2 night package at the Radisson Roe Valley as a treat. And treat is exactly what we found. Everyone we met who had anything to do in this hotel displayed the highest level of professionalism and customer service. I suspect that somewhere in the background is a very good manager who has his/her team motivated and engaged. It certainly shows.
The location of the hotel in the Roe Valley is perfect for lazy days on the North Antrim coast and also for the Inishowen Peninsula - a great day out as a round trip to Malin Head and back.
Our hotel package included one 4 course dinner which was excellent. Good food and reasonably priced excellent wine. Again, the restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and professional.
This is a gem of a hotel right on my doorstep - If I couldn't be in Paris this trip was the perfect replacement.

Very nice resort. Beautiful "Parkland" golf course, nice facilities. Food was okay to good, but not anything to get at all excited about. Our group of ten all liked our rooms, though we were all disappointed that we had absolutely no control over the temperature of our rooms whatsoever! We had an unseasonably high t e premature of 22-24 Celsius, yet no thermostat in our rooms let alone air conditioning. To top it off, the windows only opened partially. Service is friendly, but anything but swift. We were all convinced that we could have sat for a week in the clubhouse restaurant and never have been waited on! It was quite bizarre. Teaching staff to actually LOOK for guests who may want to order a beverage or food would raise the ratings here quite a bit.

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your review. I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, temperatures soared during your stay with us! During warm conditions we have fans available to combat the heat and would have been happy to provide this to you. I apologise for your wait in the Coach House Brasserie and will pass this on to management. We hope to see you again in the near future. Kindest Regards

This weekend was booked as a surprise , and what a surprise it was indeed. Golf was our main theme for the trip . 1hr 20mins from Belfast and a straight run . We went straight to the club shop to check in for our golf and in minutes we where playing . Fantastic course , we had unlimited golf so we went around again , great . Then we booked our evening meal , a choice of restaurants , Greens or The Coach House , we opted for Greens and 10/10 , the staff where friendly , helpful and above all where always smiling , even tho it was very busy. The food was delish , we moved into the O`Cahans bar where there was a girl singing and a bit of a quiz , very relaxing . The rooms are spotless , towels a plenty and beds so comfortable . Breakfast was great , loads to choose from and fresh . All in all the best weekend I have had in many years . Keep up the good work .

Room Tip: They are all good , all quiet rooms .

Stayed for birthday weekend. Had a Junior Suite - lovely quiet room (140). Lots of space and huge four poster type bed, robes, nespresso coffee machine etc. I was delighted to find a bottle of bubbly and fruit compliments of management and the staff had arranged flowers and chocs from my son waiting for me when we checked in. Food was delicious as usual and we had a lovely relaxing weekend and enjoyed some lovely company (that's you Sharon and My William !!). Just read a review that said the restaurant was like a canteen!?! I have never been in a canteen that looked like Greens or The Coach House! The staff are the backbone of this hotel and real ambassadors for the Roe Park. Give it a try and I reckon, like me, you will want to return. Thanks Roe Park.

Room Tip: Treat yourself and book a Junior Suite
