Stephen and I would like to thank all the staff at Roe Park for making our Wedding Day dreams come true!
We have just returned home from 3 wonderful days at the Hotel with friends and family. We arrived on Saturday and had no desire to leave, the staff couldn’t do anymore to make everyone welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The Hotel has a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door, making you feel at home. The girls in the Spa pampered several of us and immediately made you feel relaxed and at ease. The waiting staff are all very attentive, quickly clearing tables ensuring that all our needs were met. House keeping are constantly on the go and all our rooms were immaculate. We ate in the Coach House for the first 2 nights and everyone in our large group thought the food was excellent, some of the best ever tried.

Facilities available at the Hotel ensured that all ages were catered for, from 1year old to 70 plus! They enjoyed the Spa, Pool, Sauna, Gym, Driving Range, Golf Course, Putting Green and the Roe Valley Country Park with lovely walks also on your doorstep. Our group tried and tested them all.

But the best was yet to come! We were married at the Hotel on Monday and I have to say it was everything we dreamed of and more! We are not from the area and had no idea who to approach locally for services when planning a wedding but had no need to worry, Simone (Events Coordinator) guided us through it all with excellent recommendations, everything from Registrar, Flowers, Hair, Table decoration, Music etc. She was constantly in contact with us and is worth her weight in gold (Roe Park hold on to her!)
We all had a fabulous day and a great night, thanks to all the team at Roe Park! Hope you will have us all back again.

We have just returned from enjoying a super wedding at this hotel. My wife and I stayed here about eight years ago and were looking forward to returning to see how it had lasted. Its a classy hotel from when you approach it till you get inside it. The foyer is very impressive and the staff couldnt have been more helpfull. The wedding was supperb and the food fantastic. We were treated tomovernight stay which again was great. The room was spacious and comfortable with all you would need for the stay. We ate in nthe bistro at lunch time and it was very good and well priced. Breakfast was again very plentifull and quality was good. The atmosphere around and about the hotel is buzzing and having the golfcourse so close to the hotel it was enjoyable sitting relaxed watching balls flying everywhere but where it should.. great craic!! would reccomend the hotel and there seems to be offers on to intice you there.

Room Tip: Obviously a room over looking the golfcourse would be great.. Though most of them seem to anyway.

Hi Colin, Many thanks for your review and delighted you enjoyed the recent wedding you attended at the hotel. We are indeed a popular wedding venue in Northern Ireland, primarily due to our setting, service and quality of food. We hope to see you again soon! Kind Regards.

My wife and i checked in to Roe Park whilst touring the north coast. As other reviewers have mentioned the new rooms are very nice. well appointed with nice views over the golf course. Staff were very friendly and chatty giving as much information as they could. Our issue was with the restaurant. We were unsure whether to go out for dinner or eat in the hotel, so I looked at the website which described The Greens restaurant as being somewhere special to eat and informed us that the chef is sometimes referred to as "The Gordon Ramsey" of Northern Ireland"....Oh Dear.
The restaurant itself is also used for breakfast in the mornings, and you could tell, there was little to no atmosphere in the room. the starters were fine, but the main course was a real issue. mine came out hot in the middle and cold on the outside with a side order of stone cold chips. My wife's dinner was absolutely awful, it seemed to be a luke warm chicken breast smothered in mayonnaise and the same white sauce that accompanied her starter was drenching her main course. Credit to the waitress, she noticed straight away that something was wrong and admitted that it did not look in anyway appetizing. She also proactively offered another choice on the menu, which was good. The manager also came to apologise and sent out a sorbet while my wife's new dish was being cooked, which was nice. unfortunately there was a massive hair on the sorbet and the new dish that was brought out was also cold! without us asking they took a main course off the bill and offered desserts, but y that stage we were just ready to go. the whole situation was very embarrassing. Particularly as the front of house staff were so nice.
I asked at reception later thinking that maybe the chef had changed, but the lady there told me the same chef was with them for the last number of years...maybe she was on her holidays that week.
We should have gone to the coach house as my wife suggested, it was obviously busy for a reason!
Overall a nice hotel, on beautiful grounds, with friendly staff...But huge improvements needed in the restaurant

Our family booked us in to the Roe Valley for our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary for two nights and to our suprise when we arrived at the hotel we discovered that the whole family
(we have a large family) had booked in as well .
There were 36 persons in our group booking into the hotel
It made us very happy with the family being with us on our
Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebrations
As we waited on our rooms being prepared for us we were given a menu to choose our meals for our dinner that night, we all noted down what we wanted giving room nos names ect .
Our family had planned to treat my wife and I to a family meal to celebrate our happy ocassion
All went well until the dinner on the first night !.
We were set down to eat in The Coach House Brasseriere dining area.
The chairs and tables were so close we had little room to move.
The staff were very helpful they made a good attempt at making us comfortable during the serving of the meal.
Serving was a little haphazard my own meal was given to another party who was not in our group. The staff themselves had little room to move in bringing out the meals they were very helpful even though there were some mixups in the distribution of the food
When members of our party had to use the toilet others had to move to let them out, this caused a lot of disruption.
As there was such a large family party I personally thought that a larger room should have been allocated to accomodate a group such as ours.
On our second night a smaller group of us had dinner in a more spacious dining room called "Greens"
The food and service was excellent on that occassion no complaints!.
Bedrooms were very good clean and comfortable all the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The breakfast was plentiful with a good variety
We all enjoyed ourselves making good use of the pool and spa and golfing facilities we all had a wonderful time with the family
And the only blight on our stay was the uncomfortable place where we had our dinner on our first night which was called The Coach House Brasseriere !!!

Room Tip: If you are there for a special occassion ask for an upgrade it will be worth it !

Hi Ger, Many thanks for your review and congratulations on your recent Golden Wedding Anniversary! As it was a member of your family who booked the room for your meal, they were advised at the time of booking a larger function room in the main hotel would be more suitable however they opted to stay in the restaurant. I hope this did not have a major impact on your stay with us and I am pleased that you were satisfied with all other aspects of service and quality. We look forward to welcoming you and your family again in the future. Kind Regards

We received a voucher for Christmas last year for this beautiful hotel which we had stayed at before so after checking the best value for a 2 day break we booked a mid-week stay. Our room on the ground floor was large and very clean with a lovely spacious bathroom. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and can't be praised highly enough. The food in the Coach house was excellent and the lovely views over the golf course made for a very relaxing meal. We also used the pool and jacuzzi. We were able to walk from the hotel through the Roe Valley Park which was beautiful. All in all we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Ditto what other members have stated!!
Room 122, new, modern, spacious, fab view of the golf course.
So immaculate.
Large comfortable bed, tea/coffee/hair dryer/trouser press/safe/large plasma TV. Ice machine on the floor, ice bucket in the room.
Pool/sauna/steam/jacuzzi excellent. Take a swim hat is you have one otherwise easilly purchased for just £2.
Radison, could I suggest, a spinner for wet swimmers but plastic bags available.
Fab food & wine & very affordable.
Amazing breakfast!!
But, for us, the most outstanding aspect, was the professional, friendly happy staff throughout the hotel!!
They all, without exception, had a smile.
They all seemed to genuinly enjoy their work!!
Congrats to all the team!!

Room Tip: Room 122, new, modern, quiet, great view of golf course, fast lift to 1st floor but easy to walk to...
