Stayed at this Hotel 3 years ago, and due to being in the area stayed once again. Although there was a wedding going on we still were able to have an enjoyable evening meal, my partner had the spicy starter off the bar menu and I had the fish starter off the same menu both plentiful and well cooked. My partner went for the 10oz Sirloin, this was cooked well if a little tough, I had the special chicken with new potatoes. We also went for deserts I had the cheesecake my partner the trifle both very nice. Our room was well furnished and clean, although the corridors and the main hotel rooms look a bit tired, which could easily be remedied with a coat of paint. The staff were lovely and very attentative, would definitely stay again if in the area.

Room Tip: We stayed in the newer block which is very quite and no notice from the wedding disco.

Booked to stay here as we've done in the past and its close to family but cannot stay with them due to disability. Booked to stay the weekend 30/31 August, to attend 'The Battle Proms' at Ragley Hall. A little disappointing but the firework display was fantastic. Arrived back at the hotel by 10.45pm had a cuppa and settled down to sleep. Had not been in bed an hour when we were awoken by running in the corridor and banging doors. My husband went out to find what the noise was about only, to find 5 young lads being the culprits. They apologised after my husband told them they had woken us up. We tried to get back to sleep but were woken again by the lads in the gym (which happens to be next door to our bedroom) they were trying to race each other on the threadmill. My husband rang and spoke to the duty manager, who came down but they had left. Happened again, rang the manager again who again came down and confronted them in the gym. We had a very disturbed night and did not manage to get back to sleep. We went to breakfast first thing, only because we wanted to check-out asap. My husband went to pay the bill and told the receptionist he was not going to pay for night we were disturbed. After emailing Matt Bird the manager, as yet he has not had the decency to reply. Now will have to search for another hotel with disabled facilities. A thought for hotel, maybe wedding guests should stay in the main hotel where the breakfast/party was held and other guests should stay in the annex. Also should not parents be responsible for their own children when staying at this hotel. Left writing this review till now because I was raging.

Stayed for three days and found the hotel to be good value. Great room in the 'Kings Block' with large bed and tea milk and all the trimmings . We gave up trying to make a hot drink as it tasted of plastic (from the kettle) The room and hallways were clean. There was no hotel information in the room and although it was mentioned at reception twice, none appeared. . The shower which is over the bath could do with a handrail of some kind as it is slippery getting out. (thinking of the elderly). Breakfast from 7 till 9 is good value and plentiful (bacon was a little hard) but can be cool after 8. Would stay again if in the area.

Room Tip: Premier rooms are refurbished and in very good repair.

As usual very good apart from the door frame of room 40 which was splitting causing the door to sticki badly. I am sure this was a problem last year when I had this room. Need to be sorted a takes a good slam to shut which is of no benefit to nearby rooms!

Room Tip: Breakfast is better at the start of proceedings as some of it gets a little overdone under the heat...

We have stayed here 3 or 4 times now and usually have a great stay. This time we had all the usual good bits, huge bed, nice room, good food - breakfast is lovely here. But this time there were a couple of not so good bits. One was a wedding party, which is great for the hotel but if you are a guest it is like a rugby scrum trying to get to the restaurant or the bar areas. We were jostled and actually had our way barred by wedding guests. To be honest they probably don't want us in the middle of their party either. The hotel needs to come up with an alternative way for non wedding guests to get around the hotel or somewhere else for the wedding party to congregate. Also you can imagine how busy the bar area is when there there are wedding guests waiting for the disco to start!!!
The other thing this time was the flies. Literally dozens of them, so you would walk through a swarm as you went back to your room. It was horrendous. And when people left food remains outside in the corridors the flies multiplied. I have never seen anything as bad as this, even in some very hot countries. Nasty.

Room Tip: Have one of the refurbished rooms at the back of the hotel - much nicer and very quiet.

Stay at the Kings Court Hotel for a couple of midweek days in August.

My room on the ground floor in the 1st annex next the the main building was very large, Queen size bed, flat screen tv (free view) very clean bathroom, plenty of new towels.
Tea and coffee facilities, plenty of storage space, hairdryer and soaps etc.
Only fault curtains did not block out lights from the car park.

Food ranging from bar snacks to steaks etc all reasonable priced. Bar well stock, staff very pleasant. Nice seating area outside
Breakfast was excellent from 7 to 9....

Hotel was very busy with a mix bag of travellers, business and lesiure users

Would return and use this hotel as a base to travel around

Room Tip: Rooms that back on to the fields are new re fub ones

Enjoyed our stay but room could have been cleaner. It was very dusty and had cobwebs! Smelled of wee a bit and we found tablets under the bed. lots of flies in the hall ways and we both got bitten a few times.
