Weve been to Vila Bakfar yesrterday, and we enjoyed it so much.
It has big lawn for the kids, amazing pool and spa (Jacuzi).
The vila it self has 2 floors and big family rooms and privacy.
most of the rooms has HUGE jacuzi that can fit 3-4 people.

The breakfast is rich and varity of cream cheese, hard chesse, omlets and juices.

for summery, it is an amazing place, and we reccomand it.

Great place to stay with either young kids or teenagers. Also great for friends get together or small family gatherings. Great pool, terrace, lawn and jacuuzi. Very quiet and private, great views of the valley and mountains. Nearby stable adds charm. A really fun place - you really get the feel of the area. Excellant breakfast and very attentive service. I wanted to book our next stay immedietly. Highly recommended.

When saying: "God is in the small details"... they mean "Villa Bakfar".
It begins with the unique atmosphere in the villa, homemade cake,
delicious breakfast, (especially the homemade cheese and quiche),
perfectly designed suites and excellent service.
The garden is huge and beautiful, and swimming in the pool facing the view felt like heaven. We also took Spa treatments and enjoyed every minute.
We had dinner at the Herb Farm restaurant as part of a special Spa package and we highly recommend it.
No wonder Villa Bakfar has top ranking in the category of "Guest accommodations" in Israel

We stayed four bridge players in the Villa in February 2011.

The villa itself is beautiful, tastefully decorated and furnished. The villa is equipped with all that is required at a high standard. The owners have thought of every single detail in order to make the stay in the Villa comfortable .
Breakfast is very rich and luxurious.

The villa's Balcony overlooks a pastoral landscape with amazing seasonal flowering and for those who like to walk there is a lovely walking trail around the Moshav.
The Villa is especially recommended for families, or for those who want to rent a number of units together. In the ground floor there is a huge lobby and dining room and a large balcony allows everyone to gather comfortably.

Anat - the owner of the villa is very helpful and finds solutions for every need.
Few minutes away are a wide variety of sites and restaurants including a lovely Hot air balloon flight. (Rize company)

My husband and I took the Spa Package at “Villa BaKfar”. It was wonderful!!! We were at the Spring Suite- it’s artistically designed and has a snug and comfy feel. From the bedroom balcony we could see the gorgeous garden, and the Gilbo’a Mountains. Oh! And the breakfast! The best!

We had an excellent relaxing massage treatment (part of the Spa Package) in the spa room, overlooking the pool. This was topped by a superb dinner at the Herb Restaurant (Havat HaTavlinim) on Mount Gilbo’a.

The service was great. Anat and Yoni were delightful. Anat gave us tips for hikes and places off the beaten track. Overall, we felt very special, we enjoyed it thoroughly and can’t wait to do it again (and again).

Room Tip: We stayed at the Spring Suite and loved it

Vila Bakfar is a magical place to stay. Set just below the staggeringly beautiful Mount Gilboa, in the fertile Yisroel valley this is part way between boutique hotel and top-end self-catering, a set of luxurious suites which can be booked separately or together depending on the time of year. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered - including deep duvets in crisp white linen, fluffy towels, flat screen televisions, bath robes. The style is a unique kind of Israeli country chic, with textured and painted walls, lots of wood, and wrought iron detailing. There is a lounge and dining room downstairs, plus a kitchen you can cook your meals in, though owner Anat and her manager are there every morning to serve breakfast on the terrace and chat to guests. And what a breakfast it is. Not only all the usual Israeli staples, but mouth-watering home made cheeses, freshly baked breads and unusual artisan jams. Our suite featured a loft bed which the kids adored, and a jacuzzi in the middle of the room. In the carefully tended garden there is another larger jacuzzi and a swimming pool surrounded by decking which feels more LA than Holy Land. If you need further pampering, then there are treatment rooms on site for visiting therapists. If it's activity options you are after, Anat is happy to set you up with any trips you fancy, whether it is a jeep tour, horse riding, or ski-ing (yes ski-ing). We took a trip up to the Golan heights, easily reachable from Vila Bakfar, which is wonderfully situated for the Kinneret and most of northern Israel. Anat also has all sorts of deals on great local restaurants, and I particularly recommend the Herb Farm on Mount Gilboa, one of her top picks. On Vila Bakfar's website is a paeon of praise Israel's top writer Amos Oz has written to the place, and who can disagree? It is a magical place to stay, whether you want a romantic break or somewhere your kids will have the time of their lives. We had a fabulous stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Room Tip: Get the room with the loft bed and jacuzzi
