When you walk into this cafe the interior seems quite dark and is pretty dramatic-looking. There are lots of ladies who lunch, of the better-off kind who can pay Rocca's prices. Staff seem friendly enough although they were slow to clean the table we'd chosen. We didn't have a meal, just coffee and something to go with coffee!! The coffee was good and the choice of enormously portioned traybakes, scones and cakes was impressive. However, we felt the scones had been overworked so were chewy. The caramel on their caramel triangles (I think that's what they were called) my daughter said was incredibly good , just a pity it wouldn't stick to the base.
I am going to give this place another chance . Anyone for coffee??
