First up the layout was terrible, I didn't know where to go, no signs to say you had to go upstairs! It took a few mins for a member of staff to greet us. Serving staff were good tho a tad too intrusive for my liking. Starters were mussels which were cooked to perfection tho the sauce was bland, breaded mushrooms were good tho presentation poor. Mains were steak which was advertised as dexter beef but was actually Hereford (inferior) and was sent back (overcooked) then 2nd time was poorly trimmed. Partner had salmon which was of good standard. Only 2 other people in restaurant, when paying bill we voiced our dissatisfaction and floor staff took our concerns in a sympathetic manner although the manager (Brian) was not willing to see our point of view. 2 starters 2 mains 4 drinks total £73 which I thought was pretty steep for a feed on a Tuesday evening! #disapointed
