The food here ranges from tea/coffee, scones and traybakes or cakes to simple but delicious home-made soups, sandwiches and larger meals. Childrens meals are also available. The chef does seem to try to use fresh and locally- available ingredients in season and the food is tasty and portions are good.
There are themed evenings and events throughout the year. Overall prices are considered reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great for coffee and cake or a warm or cool drink after a circuit of the lake. Highly recommend! Hope this helped you.
