We had a great day, my daughter and I, the weather was great and the variety of products was amazing. Bought some stuff, regretted not buying a LOT of stuff.

“Excellent place for walks and wildlife”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

I have been going to Mount Stewart for about 30 years. It has developed as a major attraction for families within a 30 minute drive of Belfast. Highlights include the immaculate gardens, the lake, the Temple of the Winds and the 'wider' walks which are not that wild but you do get. Chance to see red squirrels. The shop and cafe are good quality. It is getting harder to have a quiet walk as a result of the popularity with families. An early morning walk offers the best bet with a reasonable chance of seeing squirrels. This trip's highlight were the two 'dab chicks' on the lake.

“One of my favourite places to visit..”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Mount Stewart House is a fantastic day out, the house is grand and full of history. The gardens provide great walks for all the family and there is plenty to look at. The tea room is lovely and there is many nice places around the lake to sit and have a picnic with the family or ready a book or just spend time resting. It is worth a visit, I try to visit mount stewart at least once a year. If yo have not been, you need to go!!
